  • We are an association of investors who come together to fund visionary and innovative nonprofits and projects with strong potential for transformational change and measurable social impact.

  • We’re most aligned with organizations that:

    • pursue meaningful, measurable outcomes (not just activity)

    • have a clear, compelling theory of change and plan to execute

    • are innovative in model, method, or scale strategy

    • demonstrate strong leadership and organizational maturity

    • can show traction (early proof points, results, or validated demand)

  • We look for work that materially shifts outcomes at the individual, community, or systems level—something that changes the trajectory, not just the symptoms. Think step-change impact, not incremental improvement.

  • We support nonprofits through impact-oriented funding that may include project funding and/or growth capital depending on fit and investor interest. Specific structures and amounts vary by opportunity.

  • Not usually. FCG Capital is focused on nonprofit impact—not ownership or financial return. When we refer to “private equity discipline,” we mean a rigorous approach to diligence, outcomes, and execution. That said, we’re open to exploring subsidiary or affiliated-entity structures when they genuinely support the mission and create clearer accountability, scalability, or long-term sustainability.

  • We typically engage with organizations that have moved beyond the idea stage—those with a working program or model and early results, and a credible plan for growth or replication.

  • We consider opportunities across a range of geographies. Priority may vary depending on investor interest and the nature of the work.

  • We start with our Investment Inquiry Form, which asks for basic information such as:

    • your mission and the problem you’re solving

    • the project or growth opportunity you’re seeking funding for

    • evidence of impact and how you measure outcomes

    • leadership and organizational capacity

    • high-level budget and use of funds

  • Submit the form on this page to receive our Investment Inquiry Form. Once received, complete and return it per the instructions provided.

  • If your opportunity appears aligned, we may follow up with questions, request additional materials, or schedule a conversation. Not every inquiry will move to the next stage, and timelines can vary based on volume and investor fit.

  • No. We focus on nonprofits and nonprofit-led initiatives aligned with our impact mission.

  • We may offer feedback during the process when there’s strong alignment, but we’re not able to provide full proposal-writing services for every inquiry.

  • The best fit is a nonprofit with a compelling, evidence-informed approach, strong execution capacity, and a clear plan to convert funding into measurable social impact.
